We are appointment only at this time.* Our appointment book is computerized which allows us to efficiently make appointments for you and your pet. Our receptionists and team will attempt to accommodate all requests to the best of our ability. Emergencies are accepted case by case anytime our clinic is available. If you feel you have an emergency with your pet, please call us immediately. If possible it is best to call before coming in so that a staff member can advise you on your particular emergency.

We have a veterinarian and personnel on duty 6 days a week who are trained and equipped to handle any urgent care your pet has. Emergencies can be things such as snail bait poisoning, hit by car, and chocolate ingestion. If you ever feel that your pet needs emergency treatment do not hesitate to call us immediately. If possible it is best to call before coming in so that a team member can advise you on your particular emergency.
We are also available for urgent care when the condition is not life-threatening. If you feel your pet needs to be seen before you are able to get an appointment, our receptionists will work to accommodate emergency appointments. When you arrive, our receptionists will be able to give you an estimate on how long you may have to wait for treatment.

COVID-19 UPDATE as of June 2021
South Hills Animal Hospital will remain OPEN until further notice. We are open by Appointment only. Veterinary practices are considered an essential business according to the AVMA. Here at South Hills, we provide for both animal and public health but we advise owners to stay at home if they are feeling ill. We will accommodate any prescription or diet refills by curbside pick up & pay-by-phone, if called in advanced. Clients are allowed in the exam rooms with their pets & in the lobby. If the lobby is full please wait outside until it is clear to avoid patient contact. All clients & staff are still required to wear masks in the facility. Social distancing is still appreciated. We ask for your patience & understanding during these stressful times. Thank you for your cooperation.
