May is one of the recent additions to our animal hospital. She graduated from Brigham Young University in 2021 where she received her Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Biology, and she is planning to continue her education to be a registered veterinary technician. May has always had a passion for working with animals, and as a result, her home has always been filled with all kinds of pets. When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her three senior dogs and taking care of her various aquatic friends. Though she is new to the Animal Medicine field, her love of animals will make sure that your pet is well loved and taken care of while they are here!
Ryan CastilloVeterinary Technician
Ryan has been working in the veterinary field for over 10 years and is very
knowledgeable in the field. Growing up, Ryan always was a pet lover. When
he was young his first pet was a Black Labrador who was a fire rescue dog
named Lady, having her really sparked his interest in the field. He is now
our head technician here at South Hills Animal Hospital. Ryan is very
friendly and will always assure that you and your pet are receiving the
Erica has always had a great passion for animals and recently graduated with a bachelor's of science in animal health science at Cal Poly in 2021. She also now has her veterinary technician license. She loves caring for our patients here at the hospital and also caring for her cats at home!
Jenessa has worked in the veterinary field for 5 years. She attended Mt. San Antonio College and Cal Poly Pomona where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Studies with a concentration in Animal Health Science. Jenessa has loved animals since she was a little girl and had various pets growing up. She currently has a 3-legged rescue dog named Holly who she cares for when not caring for your pets here in our hospital.
Jessica is one of our receptionists and is currently a student at Cal Poly Pomona majoring in Agriculture Science with an emphasis in Animal Science in hopes of becoming a veterinarian in the near future. She is an active member in her school’s Pre-Vet Club and Equestrian Show Team. Growing up, she always had a passion for animals and loves seeing patients every day at work.
Liz is currently a part time student in the registered veterinary technician program at Mt. San Antonio College. She hopes to become a licensed technician and continue to grow in the veterinary field. Liz’s passion for animals started at a young age when she would stay at her family’s small ranch in Riverside. Liz now enjoys working with animals and educating their owners on their care. She currently has a pit bull mix named Domino & on her spare time enjoys hiking with her husband and two children. Liz will always be sure all your concerns are addressed while your loved one is in our care!
Katie recently graduated with a bachelor's degree in Animal Science at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. She is pursuing a career as a Veterinarian but is unsure where she will be going to Veterinary school. Katie has a passion for all animals but has a soft spot for horses. She will always make sure that your pet receives the most compassionate care.
Elizabeth is our designated cat whisperer. She has been in the veterinary field for over 7 years and is finishing up in the Registered Veterinary Technician program at Mt. San Antonio College. Elizabeth has a passion for what she does and loves both cats and dogs and has always wanted to work with animals since she was little. She and her husband are kept busy with four cats of their own. She will always make sure you and your pet are well taken care of!
Queenie has always been passionate about animal care her whole life. She graduated from California State University, Los Angeles with a business degree but soon realized her passion was in the veterinary field. She aspires to get her license as a Registered Veterinary Technician. She loves all her clients and wants to continue learning everything she can. Right now she has two dogs and a macaw of her own but wants plenty more! When Queenie is not working she enjoys going to the beach, spending time with loved ones and of course spoiling her dogs.
